Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software products. The QA Tester will also work closely with the development team to identify and report software defects, and will have a basic understanding of automation testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing on web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and quality
  • Work closely with developers to identify and report software defects
  • Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for software products
  • Collaborate with the project manager to plan and prioritize software testing activities
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates on software testing progress
  • Work with the development team to ensure software solutions meet quality standards
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and reports
  • Identify areas for automation testing and work with the automation team to develop and execute automated tests
  • Participate in quality assurance activities.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools used for software testing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in manual software testing
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with web and mobile application development
  • Basic understanding of automation testing and tools, such as Selenium
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with developers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
